The Lone U.S. Manufacturer of Japanese, Chinese, & Korean “Approved” Cable—Interpower

For U.S. distributors of Japanese, Chinese, and Korean OEM cable, committing to “minimum” orders of 15,000-100,000 feet of cable per order may be a risky monetary venture with precious metals and currencies continually changing value.

What isn’t risky is buying Japanese, Chinese, and Korean cords from Interpower, which maintains approvals and certifications on all those cables. Why not buy cable from a vendor who doesn't pass along any tariff costs? Made in the U.S.A., Interpower cords and cable are tariff-free, meaning you won’t pay any tariff charges. The cable is electrically tested at several stages of manufacturing, ensuring electrical continuity.

Finally, when Asian cable does arrive to distributors in the U.S. from overseas, it’s limited. Limitations may include the number of available cable configurations, and color availability may be basic as well, such as in black. And you don’t know about the raw materials that went into the cable. Interpower only uses the finest metals and resins in their power cords and cable.

The Interpower Advantage

Interpower manufactures Japanese, Chinese, and Korean cable with proper approval marks (PSE, CCC, and KC respectively), and is manufactured and shipped directly from Lamoni, Iowa, located in the middle of America’s heartland. This allows OEMs to order all the configurations customers need without minimum order requirements. Customers can order as little as one foot of cable or as much as several thousand. Interpower offers Asian cable with Japanese, Chinese, and Korean approvals in multiple configurations and colors.

Chart: Conductor Color Coding

North American and international cable have different conductor color codes. Marking of the conductors within the cable defines which conductor is ground, neutral, and line. Interpower has created a chart to help differentiate between the conductor color codes.
